About Swissies

Type - Swissies are draft dogs, large, powerful, heavy boned, well muscled and should have a sturdy appearance.

Temperament - Swissies are social animals and should be integrated into their family's life and home. They are "bold, faithful and willing workers." The ideal Swissy is robust and confident.

Tradition -Originally bred as draft and guard dogs. In its native land Swissies may be seen at farmhouses, pulling carts and keeping a watchful eye on livestock.
